Clinical Leadership · Sacramento Region
Clinical leadership for master clinicians. Shape practice direction with full autonomy.
ASHA CCC-SLP | Est. 2004 | Direct Employer | SLP-Owned
The Opportunity
This is not a standard job listing. We are looking for a senior clinician who wants to help shape a practice, not just work in one.
Full decision-making authority over your clinical approach. Select your assessment tools, design treatment protocols, and manage your caseload on your terms. We trust your clinical judgment because you have earned it.
Supervise Clinical Fellows and guide the professional development of less experienced clinicians. Your experience becomes the foundation for how we train the next generation of SLPs in our practice.
Participate in clinical quality decisions, district relationship management, and strategic planning. This is not advisory—you will have genuine input into how the practice operates and grows.
Compensation, schedule, and role scope are negotiable. Whether you want a reduced caseload with leadership responsibilities, a specialization focus, or a hybrid arrangement, we will structure the position around your priorities.
Compensation
Base compensation for senior positions, with flexibility for custom arrangements.
$75–$80+/hr, 8 hours/day, 185-day school year. Clinic-based and hybrid schedules also available.
Medical, dental, vision. 401K with match. ASHA dues paid. CEU support. 40 hours PTO plus school breaks.
Compensation is a starting point for conversation, not a ceiling. For clinicians with 15+ years of experience, specialized certifications, or leadership credentials, we are open to discussing arrangements that reflect your full professional value.
Your Impact
At this stage of your career, you have clinical instincts that took years to develop. We want those instincts to shape how our practice operates. This role is designed for a clinician who wants to do more than excellent therapy—you want to raise the standard of care across a team.
This is not a management title attached to a full caseload. If you want leadership involvement, we reduce your direct clinical hours accordingly. Your time is allocated to where it creates the most value.
About
Speech Therapy Consulting was founded by Stacey, a practicing SLP with over 20 years of experience. This is her practice—not a corporate entity, not a staffing company, not a franchise. Every clinical decision flows through someone who has done the work you do.
We serve families across Sacramento, Solano, and Yolo Counties through school-based placements in Dixon, Vacaville, Fairfield, Davis, West Sacramento, Woodland, and Winters, and through our year-round clinic at 255 N. Lincoln St. Suite A in Dixon. The practice has grown because clinicians stay, and families notice.

Testimonials
The families we serve speak for the clinicians who serve them.
"Our son was diagnosed with Autism at the age of 4. The first services we received was speech therapy as he was unable to express himself. We were lucky enough to have been paired with Stacey. Our son has been in speech therapy for almost a year now and has improved so much. He is always excited to go see Mrs. Stacey. We are forever grateful."— Lopez Family, Dixon, CA
"STC helped me ease my daughter into attending sessions independently instead of needing me to accompany her to every session, which has given her more confidence. My daughter looks forward to her therapy every week. We've experienced other speech therapy service providers and STC is by far our favorite. It feels like a second home."— Ann & Rose, Vacaville, CA
