Questions Experienced SLPs Ask Us

What's the caseload?

It depends on the setting. School-based positions typically have 35-45 students. Clinic positions have a lower caseload with more individual attention. We don't overload our therapists — that's how we keep people long-term. Documentation time is built into your day.

Can I specialize?

Absolutely — we encourage it. Whether you're interested in feeding therapy, autism, apraxia, AAC, or early intervention, we'll support your specialization with CEU reimbursement, specialized training, and a caseload mix that aligns with your focus area.

Is there room for leadership?

Yes. We actively develop leadership tracks for experienced therapists. Lead therapist, CF supervisor, clinical director — these are real roles we promote from within. If you want to mentor, lead, or shape clinical programs, we'll create the opportunity.

How does this compare to a staffing agency?

Night and day. You're a direct employee, not a contractor. That means full benefits from day one, a consistent team, a voice in clinical decisions, and stability. No rotating placements, no middleman, no uncertainty about next year's contract.

What's the team culture like?

Small, collaborative, and genuinely supportive. We know each other by name. Leadership is accessible — Stacey is involved and responsive. We celebrate each other's wins and help each other through tough cases. It's a team, not a corporation.

Do you support continuing education?

Yes. We provide CEU reimbursement, cover your ASHA dues and state license fees, and support conference attendance. We want our therapists growing — that's good for you and good for the kids we serve.

What locations are available?

We serve Dixon, Vacaville, Fairfield, Davis, West Sacramento, Woodland, and Winters. We'll work with you to find a placement that fits your commute and clinical preferences, with both school-based and clinic opportunities available.
