About Speech Therapy Consulting

Speech Therapy Consulting Inc. was founded by Stacey, a practicing SLP with over 20 years of clinical experience. We are a direct employer serving families across Sacramento, Solano, and Yolo Counties. We are not a staffing agency, a contractor network, or a franchise. When you join STC, you join a practice that values clinical expertise and invests in clinicians who bring it.

"Experienced SLPs are the backbone of our practice. I am looking for clinicians who want to grow, not just fill a position. If you want a seat at the table in how we deliver care, this is the place."

Our placements include school districts in Dixon, Vacaville, Fairfield, Davis, West Sacramento, Woodland, and Winters, along with our year-round outpatient clinic at 255 N. Lincoln St. Suite A in Dixon.

The Families We Serve

The families we serve speak for the clinicians who serve them.

"Our son was diagnosed with Autism at the age of 4. The first services we received was speech therapy as he was unable to express himself. We were lucky enough to have been paired with Stacey. Our son has been in speech therapy for almost a year now and has improved so much. He is always excited to go see Mrs. Stacey. We are forever grateful."
— Lopez Family, Dixon, CA
"STC helped me ease my daughter into attending sessions independently instead of needing me to accompany her to every session, which has given her more confidence. My daughter looks forward to her therapy every week. We've experienced other speech therapy service providers and STC is by far our favorite. It feels like a second home."
— Ann & Rose, Vacaville, CA

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. During our initial conversation, we discuss your setting preferences, population interests, and geographic constraints. We then match you to available positions that align with what you are looking for. If you are open to either setting, we can present multiple options for you to evaluate.
Absolutely. We support clinicians who want to develop expertise in specific areas such as autism spectrum disorders, augmentative and alternative communication, fluency, early intervention, or literacy-based approaches. We provide CEU support and can align your caseload with your specialization interests when possible.
Rather than sending you through a generic application pipeline, we begin with a clinical conversation to understand your experience, strengths, and career objectives. We then identify specific positions that match your profile and present them with full details about the site, caseload, and team. You make an informed decision before accepting any placement.
No. Speech Therapy Consulting Inc. is a direct employer. You are hired as a W-2 employee with full benefits, not contracted through a third party. Our founder, Stacey, is a practicing SLP who started this practice over 20 years ago to provide a better employment model for clinicians.
We can typically move from initial conversation to placement within two to three weeks, depending on licensure status and position availability. If you have current California licensure and are ready to begin, we can often expedite the process. School-year positions typically begin in August, but mid-year openings are common.
