Clinical Fellowship Program
Our Clinical Fellowship program is designed as a clinical training sequence, not an afterthought. Here is what it looks like from week one.
You will be introduced to your assigned school or clinic site, meet your supervising SLP, review caseload expectations, and walk through IEP processes and documentation systems. No trial by fire.
Your CF mentor provides a dedicated weekly supervision session to discuss clinical cases, review treatment plans, address challenges, and track your progress toward ASHA certification requirements.
You will begin with a reduced caseload that increases incrementally over your first 8 weeks. This allows you to build confidence and clinical routines without being overwhelmed from day one.
Your supervisor will conduct periodic direct observations of your therapy sessions and provide structured, actionable feedback. This is a collaborative process, not a performance evaluation.
We guide you through all ASHA CF reporting requirements, including the Clinical Fellowship Skills Inventory (CFSI). When your fellowship is complete, you will be prepared and supported through the CCC-SLP application.
Compensation
Transparent salary with no staffing agency margins. You are a W-2 employee from day one.
What New Grads Should Know
The transition from graduate school to clinical practice is significant. We have structured our program around the concerns new clinicians actually have.
Your supervising SLP is available throughout the week, not just during scheduled supervision. You will never be left to figure out a difficult case alone. Our team culture is built on clinical collaboration, and asking for help is expected and encouraged.
We deliberately limit CF caseloads during your first months and increase them gradually. We believe clinical quality matters more than volume, and your development as a clinician is our priority during this period.
IEP processes and documentation are covered in your onboarding and reinforced through supervision. Your mentor will walk you through your first IEPs, review your documentation, and be present for your initial meetings until you are comfortable.
You are employed directly by Speech Therapy Consulting Inc. as a W-2 employee. We are not a staffing agency. You receive the same benefits, pay, and support as every other clinician on our team. Our founder, Stacey, is a practicing SLP who built this practice for clinicians like you.

Testimonials
The families we serve speak for the clinicians who serve them.
"Our son was diagnosed with Autism at the age of 4. The first services we received was speech therapy as he was unable to express himself. We were lucky enough to have been paired with Stacey. Our son has been in speech therapy for almost a year now and has improved so much. He is always excited to go see Mrs. Stacey. We are forever grateful."— Lopez Family, Dixon, CA
"STC helped me ease my daughter into attending sessions independently instead of needing me to accompany her to every session, which has given her more confidence. My daughter looks forward to her therapy every week. We've experienced other speech therapy service providers and STC is by far our favorite. It feels like a second home."— Ann & Rose, Vacaville, CA
