Voice & LSVT Specialist SLP — LSVT-LOUD for Parkinson's + voice disorders (Roseville)

  • Specialty Slp
  • Roseville, CA
  • $102,000–$130,000 / year
  • Contractor
  • Home health

The specialist role is designed for the clinician whose CEU history already tells the story — you've been moving toward one focus area for a while, and you're ready to make it the whole job instead of a third of it.

About this role

The specialist role is designed for the clinician whose CEU history already tells the story — you've been moving toward one focus area for a while, and you're ready to make it the whole job instead of a third of it.

Roseville — on the Placer County side — is where our home-health team runs and where we've built a denser private-clinic footprint for families willing to drive from Rocklin, Lincoln, and Granite Bay.

Home-health specialty work in Roseville — adults and medically-complex pediatric cases — runs 15-20 visits per week at a 45-60 minute eval / 30-45 minute follow-up cadence. You pick your visit window inside a 30-mile radius, document in Homecare Homebase, and consult on complex cases across the home-health team.

Specialty focus: LSVT-LOUD delivery for Parkinson's patients, SPEAK OUT! voice therapy, and pediatric/adult voice disorder assessment across home-health and clinic caseloads.

What this role looks like

  • Protected caseload built around your specialty — we flex intake so 60%+ of your cases match your focus area
  • +$5K–$10K annual specialty bonus once you hold the relevant cert (SOS, LSVT-LOUD, BCS-F, ADOS-2, etc.)
  • Specialty-certification stipend — we pay for the course and exam fees upfront, not reimbursed after
  • Assessment premium — when you cover specialty evaluations across sites, it's billed at a higher rate

Who thrives here

Specialty hires tend to be 2-8 years post-CF, hold at least one relevant certification (or have a clear plan to earn it), and have preferences about caseload composition that generalist roles don't accommodate. If you've outgrown "whoever is available," this fits.

Highlights & benefits

  • Cross-site consultation at a premium rate
  • Protected specialty caseload (60%+ focus-area cases)
  • Specialty bonus $5K-$10K/year once certified
  • Cert stipend — course + exam fees paid upfront, not reimbursed
  • Roseville / Placer County — home-health and private-clinic hub

Requirements

Required

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an ASHA-accredited program (CAA)
  • CCC-SLP (ASHA) — active
  • Current California SLP license
  • Minimum 2 years post-CF clinical experience with demonstrated work in the specialty area
  • Valid CA driver's license, clean DMV record (we pull at hire + annually), auto insurance with at least $100K/$300K liability; comfortable driving 80-150 miles per day in the Roseville region
  • DOJ/FBI Live Scan fingerprint clearance, TB clearance within 12 months, current CPR certification (we reimburse renewal)

Nice to have

  • LSVT-LOUD certification, SPEAK OUT! training, acoustic voice analysis (PRAAT/Visi-Pitch), or prior ENT-referral experience

About Speech Therapy Consulting, Inc.

Speech Therapy Consulting, Inc.

Speech Therapy Consulting, Inc. is a California-based speech-language pathology practice that hires the way we wish someone had hired us. Clinicians get real supervision, fair caseloads, and a leadership team that still sees patients.

We run pediatric clinics, school contracts, and home-health caseloads across Northern California — and we staff them with SLPs who stay because the work is good, not because we trapped them in a non-compete.
